🔒 Zero-Credential Security
Your point-of-sale data, sales vouchers, inventory balances, and customer ledger records represent months or years of hard work. In the retail and wholesale business, a sudden computer hard drive crash, accidental Windows formatting, power surge, or malware infection can bring your daily store operations to a complete standstill.
To eliminate these risks, InventoryPlus provides automated Zero-Credential Cloud Backup Mirroring. Every time you create a backup—whether manually or via scheduled background automation—InventoryPlus automatically deposits a verified copy directly in your personal cloud sync drive (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox).
🔒 What is Zero-Credential Cloud Mirroring?
Unlike traditional software that asks you to enter your Google or Microsoft email and password into third-party servers, InventoryPlus uses local Windows client-side mirroring. You log in to your official desktop cloud provider app once on Windows. InventoryPlus deposits encrypted backup archives into your local sync directory, and the official cloud provider silently uploads it. Your passwords, tokens, and billing files remain 100% private to you.

- Check the time slots you want automated backups to trigger (for example:
12:00afternoon,16:00evening, and20:00night). - Click "Create Schedule".
- InventoryPlus registers automated tasks with the native Windows Task Scheduler. Even if InventoryPlus is minimized or closed, the background backup agent will run silently at those exact hours, create a timestamped backup, and mirror it to your cloud drive!
Daily backups can accumulate quickly over time. InventoryPlus features an intelligent Retention Engine (defaults to 30 backups). When a new backup is created, InventoryPlus automatically prunes older backups in your cloud folder beyond your retention limit, ensuring your free cloud storage quota is never exhausted!
